REVERSIBLE DRUM MIXER PAN MIXER
1. Cylindrical in Central part having Conical 1. Cylindrical Sphere having circular plates
shapes at both the ends. at the top & bottom of the mixer.
2. One Cone is used to pour the aggregate 2. Aggregate is filled inside the mixer from
material in the mixer & other cone is used to discharge opening at the top of mixer and the mix
the mix concrete out of the mixer. concrete is discharged at the bottom of mixer.
3. Entire Drum unit is rotated for Mixing & Discharge 3. Only the Arms & Blades inside PAN Mixer
of Concrete. helps in mixing & discharge of Concrete.
4. Reversible Drum are based on Free Mixing type 4. PAN Mixers are based on Forced Mixing
phenomenon as the concrete moves inside the drum phenomenon as the blades inside are mixing
along with the movement of mixer unit. the aggregate & forming it in concrete.
In case of achieving homogeneity of mixed materials, we can differentiate between the two Drum Mixer & Pan Mixer that conventional drum type mixer are having lesser homogeneity as compared to Pan mixer, within a specific time frame we can achieve higher homogeneity in Pan mixers rather than Reversible Drum Mixers. So we at, Navya Engineers & Equipments, emphassis on suggesting contractors & builders to opt for Pan Mixer for their Concrete production requirements.
